University of South Florida
The University of South Florida’s Center for Ocean Technology developed the Optical Plankton Counter for sampling and data analysis.
The College of Marine Science needed help developing sensory designs and systems for signal processing.
Occam Technology Group performed firmware design and development of analog sensor conditioning and digital signal processing.
We developed the DLS2, Dual Laser Light Sheet, optical plankton countertop to provide real-time sampling, histogram generation, and data manipulation of plankton size, velocity, equivalent spherical diameter, peak size, and time stamp at rates up to 50KHz.
