System Development for the MRM-KE Munition Missile 

Northrop Grumman Corporation American aerospace manufacturer and defense industry company that operates as the aviation division of parent company Northrop Grumman. It was formed as Orbital ATK Inc. in 2015 from the merger of Orbital Sciences Corporation and parts of Alliant Techsystems, and was purchased by Northrop Grumman in 2018. Innovation Systems designs, builds, and delivers space, defense, and aviation-related systems to customers around the world both as a prime contractor and as a merchant supplier.

Occam Technology Group helped Northrop Grumman Corporation design and develop the Mid-Range Munition- Kinetic Energy Missile. Engineers used firmware development of the FCS Ammo Data Link (ADL) and a system utilizing a Microchip csPIC 30F5011 for 200kbps HDB3 decoding. These developments launched the missile successfully and surpassed mandatory regulations. We also designed a high speed functional test system for 100MHz data storage device for target characterization ad hardware for millimeter wave extended range munitions’ 80 MHz FFT engine and 100 MHz Data Down Converter.
