Mr. Ferris has been a founder, chairman and CEO of several companies throughout his 20-year career. As a former college athlete and 2011 winner & judge of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year program, Mr. Ferris leads the firm cercatrovaholdings.com and it’s two fast growing companies – Occam Technology Group and Abacode. Ray Car


Ray is an expert in Embedded Control Systems Design and Development for Medical, Military, Marine, and Micro-Controller systems. Among many awards and over a dozen domestic and international patents, Ray holds a Masters of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of South Florida, and Double Major Bachelor of Engineering in Bio-Medical and Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University.

Gordon Ryerson


Gordon Ryerson has over 20 years of experience in the life science industry, establishing the US office of Novumed GmbH an IP consulting and advisory firm, co-founding Crosstree Capital Partners a life science investment bank, William R. Hough & Co.’s (Royal Bank of Canada) healthcare practice, group manager at Eckerd Drugs, business analyst at Honeywell and an Officer in the US Navy. MBA from University of South Florida and a BS from Auburn University.

Mark Kelly


Mark Kelly brings 30 years of engineering experience to Occam. His educational background includes a BS degree in biology from Tufts University in addition to an MBA and MS degrees in biomedical and electrical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Chris Carter


Chris has more than 20 years of experience in sales and management since completing his Bachelors Degree in Marketing and Multinational Business from Florida State University.  Previously focused in electronic component distribution, Chris spent the majority of his career with Arrow Electronics and Avnet Inc. prior to joining Occammd.

Adrienne Lytle


Adrienne Lytle has more than 10 years of management experience spanning several industries, ranging from commercial to retail applications. She has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a minor in Merchandising from Florida State University.

Bob Moreno


Bob has more than 25 years of experience in the medical field working for Corometrics Medical Systems, Marquette Medical, and GE Healthcare. Bob earned Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Charter Oak State College in Connecticut.

Jeffrey Wallace


Jeffrey Wallace is an Executive Management Professional that comes from a background of over 19 years in the medical industry. Previously, Jeff served as Senior Vice President of Product Development and Innovation at MELA Sciences, Inc.

Bob Fugerer


Robert Fugerer has more than 30 years of overlapping experience in embedded hardware and firmware engineering for electro-optical sensors, control systems, digital signal processing, aerospace instrumentation, and energy efficient LED lighting. Bob earned Masters degrees in Electrical Engineering and Engineering Management from  The University of Alabama, and The University of Tennessee, respectively.

Adam McCranie

Director of Engineering

Adam McCranie has a background of more than 20 years as Program Manager for various Fortune 500 companies in the Defense and Industrial sectors. As Director of Engineering, Adam is responsible for the management, strategic development, and coordination of Occam Technology Group’s various Engineering Programs and Divisions. Adam holds a BSEE from the University of South Florida.

Carlos Vicente


Carlos is thoroughly familiar with operational and design aspects of electronic devices. Extensive experience working on Military Embedded Computer Systems, Electronic Medical Instruments, Computer Automated Test Systems, Automated Industrial Systems, NIST Traceable Calibrations of Electrical and Mechanical Systems, Automated Food Service Equipment, and Automated Science Laboratory Systems.

Markus Vogel


Markus has over 10 years management and entrepreneurship experience in various industries, focusing on Business, Marketing, and MIS Strategy. Markus holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems, as well as being a graduate of the University of South Florida’s Master of Science in Entrepreneurship in Applied Technologies program.

Mark has over 15 years of experience in spearheading quality programs for major medical companies and renowned universities. Mark holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University – Ponoma, as well as a MBA from the University of San Diego.

Erika Troconis


Erika Troconis has a background in digital marketing and graphic design. Her experience ranges from multicultural communications to brand management in a variety of industries, including academic, retail, and technology. Troconis earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Business and holds a Master of Science in Marketing from the University of South Florida.[/ts_team_member]

Andrew Kivela


Andrew has over 12 years of analytical experience. He is a veteran on the US Army Military Intelligence Corps and served as an Operations Research & Systems Analyst supporting EOD and Special Forces in Afghanistan. Andrew holds a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of South Florida and an AA in Korean from the Defense Language Institute.

Ron Baerg


For over 26 years Ron has created embedded device software for medical, commercial, and consumer applications, as well as leading teams of engineers in the creation of safety-critical software. The early years of his career were at Environmental Technologies, designing and creating the software for environmental control systems.

Jonathan Castillo


Jonathan Castillo has 7 years of experience in POS Software Development and Implementation. He has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of West Florida and a MBA Certificate from Tulane University’s Freeman School of Business.

David Do


Certified Six Sigma Engineer, 20 + yrs, experience in medical device. Highly skilled on R&D, fabrication and build prototype on medical device, Verification & Validation test protocol & Reliability test. Building automated test fixtures for life testing, and experience with testing devices in HALT/HASS chambers, and destructive and non-destructive reliability test methods.

Andrea Wesser – Brawner


Andrea Wesser-Brawner has assisted thousands of entrepreneurs, research faculty and others in starting technology companies, pursuing federal funding for R&D, and generating revenues. Andrea earned a Bachelor’s and Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.

Greg Sandoe


Greg’s career path decisions were designed to acquire an thorough understanding and working knowledge of the complete product development process which spans from gathering customer requirements to delivering  finished devices. Greg’s experience includes Project Management, Systems Engineering & Design for Medical and Commercial Devices, Application Software and Embedded System Software Design and Development.

Charles Scott


An experienced Validation Engineer in Medical Manufacturing,R&D Engineering. Experience in validation, sustaining engineering, new product development (R&D) and CAPA failure analysis. Strong aptitude for problem solving and root cause analysis using creativity and innovation.

Kristina Prior


Previously, Kristina served as a biomedical engineer at a medical device development company. She is knowledgable of ISO 13485 and has several years of experience in R&D, FMEA/risk analysis, and verification and validation activities. Kristina is a member of Engineers Without Borders, IEEE Northeast Chapter, and HealthTech Women.

Jody Baudoin


Jody Baudoin has more than 25 years of software development experience on a variety of platforms, including Embedded Systems and General Purpose system applications. Solutions often included a networking component using a variety of transports.

John Ringdahl


John Ringdahl has accumulated many years of experience within the military industrial establishment from 1966 through 2005 for Sperry Systems, Paramax, Hercules Inc, and then Alliant TechSystems retiring December 2005. Various levels of security clearances were granted during this time.

Wally Kowalski


Dr. Kowalski consults on air cleaning design and construction, and retrofit projects, for hospitals and commercial buildings, as well as product development for the UV industry. He is currently engaged in research on UV genomics and R&D for ultraviolet germicidal irradiation systems for hospital infection control.

Rick Medero


Rick Medero brings 36 years of experience in the medical device development field. He is an expert in safety critical embedded software, and has over forty patents for electromechanical devices and software algorithms. Medero earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology from the University of South Florida.
